  • Text Synchronization: Time-align text-based assets such as caption files, transcripts,Final Draft® scripts and newscast rundowns to recorded dialogue. Create or update caption timings, navigate within videos by clicking in a transcript, and quickly locate text that doesn’t match the final dialogue.
  • Language Identification: Identify and verify the primary language of both audio and text files, so you can be sure to broadcast and publish the right dialogue tracks and caption files.
  • Transcript and Caption Identification: Automatically find and match text-based assets associated with media files. For example, plug-ins are provided to access Avid iNews rundowns and to parse file formats such as SAMI-based closed-captioning and Avid NSML.
  • Automated Clip Creation: Leveraging newscast rundowns from Avid iNews, Syndicate identifies story boundaries based on the synchronized dialogue and corresponding metadata.
  • Keyword Tagging: Automatically identify pre-defined keywords and phrases spoken in media libraries and live streams, creating dialogue-based metadata tags and proactive alerts.

XML-based I/O

Syndicate receives instructions and returns results through a simple, well-defined XML document format. Integration with other applications is straightforward, and there’s no need to maintain an external database.
