Nexidia is looking for an exceptional software engineer to play a key role in the development of its award-winning enterprise analytics product. This will be a demanding position, but will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting, leading edge technology in the industry. Candidates should expect an interview process that tests their practical knowledge, problem solving abilities, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Exceptional problem solving and resolution skills.

- BS/MS in Computer Science, Math/Statistics, related or equivalent work experience.
Required experience
- Expert in Microsoft SQL Server development including data modeling, index design, concurrency, stored procedure development and tuning. [5+ years]
- Experienced with multi-terabyte databases and design issues.
- Expert programmer [5+ years] in either C#, Java, or C++.
- Experienced with and an advocate of automated unit testing (xUnit) [1+ year]
- Expert in data access techniques and can competently discuss ORM, data mapping, and other critical issues associated with data boundary concerns.
- Experience with SSAS, data mining, OLAP, data warehouse technologies
- Experienced with source control systems (CVS, Subversion, Perforce)
- Experience working for a software product company.

Network Administrator
Requisition: 1009
This position will include a combination of support, system administrator, and network administrator responsibilities. The primary focus of the position will be to resolve network and server issues that come up in the off hours. The duties will also include server and network monitoring, build out, and maintenance work. Ideal candidates will need to have a college degree, excellent organizational and communication skills, and be highly security conscious.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience with the following is required:
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, group policy, and deployment
- Solid understanding of system and network security
- Possess a good understanding of LAN / WAN technologies and protocols including TCP/IP & DNS
- Knowledge and experience with Server 2003, Server 2008
- Experience working with VMware, Cisco Switches, and Cisco firewalls.
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting VPN client and tunnels
- Experience with server, facility, and network monitoring technologies

Senior Product Manager, Reporting and Analytics

The Senior Product Manager has a key role in establishing Nexidia’s vision, strategy, and product roadmap for Nexidia’s Contact Center Speech Analytics solutions, especially with regard to the features and functions that enable the business analysis driven by the application suite. The role requires a high-energy individual who excels at working with cross-functional teams in a highly technical space and is comfortable in leading a team effort, as well as influencing others to achieve company objectives.
The Senior Product Manager is the champion for his/her products throughout each product's lifecycle, from strategic definition to technical design to end-of-life planning. The core objective of the Senior Product Manager is to optimize product profitability by maximizing customer satisfaction through timely delivery of appropriate and useful products/features, with clearly articulated product positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of the Nexidia solution. The Senior Product Manager represents customer needs in product definition documents and on cross-functional program teams, ensures product acceptance in the market, and plans orderly transitions of products from one version to the next. Together with Product Marketing and Development, the Product Manager will help the company develop a product roadmap that ensures Nexidia offers highly competitive solutions to its customers.
Essential functions of the Senior Product Manager include creating business cases that define market forces, opportunity, and metrics, including return on investment. The Senior Product Manager develops market and product requirements for the Nexidia product/solution offering, based upon customer, competitive, technical, and market information, leading the organization to make key decisions, such as build vs. buy, etc. The Senior Product Manager defines the roll-out plans for delivering the individual products to market, develops product positioning, packaging and pricing strategies, and champions the product launch process for and within Nexidia, including with potential customers.
The ideal candidate has a strong and comprehensive technical background, with experience performing data-driven analysis using reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools that solves business problems, and a demonstrated ability to grasp, and then articulate, technical concepts and environments to a wide variety of audiences. The ideal candidate can influence various parts of an organization with the necessary excellent interpersonal skills to quickly gather and distill information, build relationships with strategic customers and vendors outside of Nexidia (as well as with key people within Nexidia), and champion their ideas and products both inside and outside of Nexidia.
The ideal candidate also possesses strong technical and business analysis skills in order to quickly assess and remain abreast of the state of the Contact Center industry, especially with regard to reporting, customer analytics, and business intelligence. This includes synthesis of any promising new technologies, new applications of technology, standards activities, changes in buyer behavior and expectations, competitive vendor positioning or moves, etc.
Responsibilities
- Work with partners, customers and Nexidia sales to understand business’ needs for analysis and interpretation of the results of speech analytics with respect to the improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the contact center in particular and the business in general
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of “Market Strategy Documents” for Nexidia’s solution set. Be a strong advocate for customer needs along with the rest of the organization
- Develop and maintain appropriate “Product Requirements Backlogs” detailing the business and technical requirements for each release
- Assist with the development of the functional/technical design for the features and functions called for by the product requirements
- Manage relationships across functional groups and influence cross-functional groups without direct hierarchical ownership of teams or products
- Prioritize and update defects, improvements and enhancements
- Design and develop product demonstrations
- Participate in customer-facing sales meetings, events and user conferences as a technical product expert
- Perform competitive analysis and become the reference point for knowledge of the competition’s equivalent product(s)
- Communicate the value of the Nexidia solutions to a wide range of audiences, including internal employees (primarily sales, services and support), customers, prospects, and partners
Specific Experience/Skills Required:
- 7+ years experience with software product management or professional services, with concentration in contact center reporting and analysis
- Knowledge of and experience with business intelligence tools and techniques;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience as a persuasive and persistent advocate for customer needs
- Excellent cross-functional team leader with strong project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and work in a self-directed manner
- Ability to thrive in a changing environment
- Ability to communicate comfortably across all levels of corporate structure
- Ability to work with sales executives and assist with opportunities as subject matter expert, especially when offerings are new to market

Senior/Lead Quality Data Analyst
Are you passionate about software quality? Nexidia is looking for a Senior Quality Data Analyst to work as an integrated member of our product development team to develop Test Plans and Test Cases around customer focused business objectives. Your duties will focus on extracting requirements, documenting requirements as test cases and executing test cases. This position requires expert-level data validation experience for an enterprise-class business intelligence product. There is also an element of customer interaction providing you with the opportunity to directly interface with the end-users of our software. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math/Statistics or acquired equivalent experience. Master’s degree in technical discipline desired.
- Eight to Ten years related experience and/or training in Quality Assurance with at least three in a leadership role. Experience leading on and off-shore teams desired.
- Proven data analysis and data verification abilities.
- Experience with agile software development processes.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical databases schemas, entity relationship diagrams and data dictionaries as needed to create SQL statements to map and retrieve data for the purpose of quality validation.
- Experience performing complicated data validation including ETL transformations from relational to multi-dimensional database structures as needed to verify data integrity of data used by business intelligence / reporting tools and applications
- Experience with large-scale enterprise product development and deployments
- Ability to create structured test plans & approaches
- Ability to be self-directed in researching detailed Requirements and developing associated Test Cases
- Able to communicate and document technical requirements to a development team and QA team
- Ability to dig into technical problems with attention to detail and write clear, detailed, and repeatable defect reports
