Nexidia Customers

Nexidia works with law firms, corporate legal departments, and regulators to handle discovery and compliance requirements for many types of audio information. With the changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that spell out “sound recordings” as electronically stored information, there is a growing need to deal with this type of content quickly and effectively.

Audio Discovery in the Regulatory Arena
Two industries that capture a great deal of recorded content are Energy and Financial Services trading. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) both use Nexidia for investigations into company transactions, and a growing body of trading companies use Nexidia to help sort through recordings for both regulatory and litigation requests. Nexidia is also used by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and OfCom in the UK for audio investigations into a variety of commercial activities.

Wiretap and Criminal Matters
Nexidia can even support the search through audio in wiretap and criminal matters. In one case, defense counsel was handed several hundred hours of inmate recordings by the prosecution... with no guidance as to what was in the calls.
